The overall marketplace for affluent Generation Xers is bigger than Millennials, but by how much?
Global X Management’s commissioned report, “Getting to Know Gen X and Millennial Investors,” broke affluent Generation Xers, those with over $100,000 to invest, into two categories: “Cautious Consulters” and “Knowledgeable Xers.”
Cautious Consulters have investment assets between $100,000 and $500,000. According to Equifax data cited in the report, this group has an approximate market size of $1.5 trillion. Knowledgeable Xers, with more than $500,000 in investable assets, represent the largest pool of wealth among the groups surveyed. According to Equifax data cited in the report, this group has an approximate market size of $5.4 trillion, by far the largest of the four groups surveyed.
This week we examine affluent Generation X members surveyed and reviewed for this report. Check out our new article on Thursday.
